The March-April series of wool sales closes to-day. The total quantity sold was 180,000 bales; 42,000 were held over for next auctions.

Prices generally closed at a half penny to a penny lower, except for cross-bredsi which have advanced by a half-penny to a penny as compared with the closing rates for January and February auctions. The third series of the sales open on June tbe 4th.
