Shaw, Saville, and Co.'s new steamer Tainui, from Plymouth, via Hobart, reached the Heads at midnight.
The Government have requested Mr Giles, 8.M., of Hokitika, and Dr Grabham to conduct the enquiry as to the admission of Kate Kelly the puerperal patient into the Wellington Hospital.
