An attempt was made last ni^ht to rob the Colonial Bank of Australasia at Natimuki a town in the north-west portion of, this colony. " A Split in the ChurchAt a special meeting of the Presbytery of Melbourne last erening, a resolution was passed'declaring that the recent conduct, of the congregation of the Scots phurch was an act -of contumacy and rebellion, and that the time! had now arrived to separate those willing to acknowledge the authority of the Church from those unwilling, and instructing the Session to take the necessary steps towards that end.
