' Melißottkne, , This day. Mauritius advices are to hand to the 10th inst. Under that date : Messrs Ireland, Fraser, and Co. report of the sugar market as follows:—The' crop accounts are unfavorable, owing to the shortness of the rainfall, and trade generally is unsatisfactory. The monthly clearances of sugar include 900 tons for Port Chalmers, and 300 for, Wellington. Freights :~To Australia, 10s to 15s; to New Zealand, 265; exchange 60 daya. Bank credits : New Zealand, 18 per cent; Australia, 19| per cent. The stock of sugar on hand is 37,000 tons. The exports to New Zealand this season amount to 600 tons.
