Cranston, a saloon passenger for^Ghristchurch died from consumption."" * .■ Last evening, while Mr Nathan, merchant, and his daughter (11 years old.) were driving in a buggy, the horse bolted, upsetting the trap, which fell on Mr Nathan and child, the former receiving a slight concussion and a scalp wound, while the girl received a double fracture of her right thigh, some severe bruises, and a shock to the nervous system. She is progressing favorably.
