Wolseley and Wilson Conferring. More Troops Sent to Grixbat. The Mahdites Massing at Tamar. j (JJeceired JPabruary 11,-»12.30 p.m.) j' Caibo, February 10. Sir Chas. Wilson, who was wrecked while returning from Khartoum to Metemneh, has been rescued from the island on which the party landed, near the Snabukli Cataract, and, with his detachments, has reached Metemneh' in safety. He has since arrived at Korti, to confer with Lord Wolseley. More troops are being despatched from Korti to Gubat. ♦ Suakim, February 10. News has reached here that Osman Digna is massing a large force of. Mahdites near Tamar, between this place and! Berber. Bombay, February 10. The reinforcements of troops to be despatched to the Soudan from India will consist of India native regiments.
