Fire Brigade Demonstration.

[By Telegbaph.]

(from our own cobeespondent.)

Dunedin, This dayi

On the arrival of all the teams last night a meeting of officers was held, and Wellington was disqualified on account of using a clatch coupling; minor details were settled satisfactorily to the brigades. Great sympathy is felt for the Thames men, owing to the weight of their reel. Water pressure here is 1751bs per square inch. The team is well and practising. A special train was laid on to Mosgiel factory for the visiting brigades yesterday. Rain set in last night. A grand torchlight procession will take place tonight for all the brigades, and the appliances contest commences at 11 tomorrow. Twenty-two brigades compete.
