This day
The King natives at Whatawhatihoe have been holding a series of religious meetings, at which the desirableness of abandoning the Hauhau superstition has been generally affirmed, but what Christian form of religion shall take its place seems not to be so easy determined. All are agreed however that the form of religion fixed upon shall embody in it Blue&ibbon principles as one of its chief characteristic.
William Sheehan was again before the Police Court yesterday and was remanded. The police stated that an Irish detective was coming out in the llemutaka with a
warrant.
