The Dunedin Tramway Co.'s report shows a falling off on the year's traffic equal to 2603 passengers. During the year 16,557 passengers were carried over the line.
At Palmerston South on Saturday evening, W. Young, nurseryman, was found drowned in the Shag river. He is supposed to have fallen in during a fit.
