Supreme Court Sessions.

In Auckland, Michael Kelly, for stealing a watch and chain at Mangawhare, was sentenced to 9 months' with hard labor; Abram Hidings, charged with indecent assault, was found not guilty. In d.scharging the prisoner His Honor said he had been found not guilty because witness had not offered any resistance. This, however, did not make his actions any less indecsnt. Robert Eeid, for stabbing John Smith on board the Lady Jocelyn, was sentenced to nine months. Wm. Wenlock, charged with embezzlement of property belonging to the Singpr Sewing Machine Manufacturing Company, was sentenced to two years. Robert Everett Franklin, charged with perjury, is believed to have left the colony. His bail bonds have been estreated,* and a warrant issued for his apprehension. (Peb Pjjess Association.) Wellington, Last night. The charges against W. VV. Taylor were called on to-day. The first indictment charged him with having converted to uses Bank of New Zealand shares valued at £18,000, of which he was trustee. Only six witnesses bad been examined when the Court adjourned.

At the Divorce Court, the case of K&p*. v. Kay, of Masterlon was heard. This was an application on the pirt of Fanny Kay for divorce from her husband, William Kay, on the grounds of cruelty, adultery, and bigamy. His Honor reserved his decision.
