Cairo, January 8. The latest telegrams from Korti state that Col. Sir H. Stewart started to-day for Gakdul, with the 19th Hussars, camel corps, Sussex regiment, and naval brigade. At Gakdul the Sussex regiment returns to the old position to protect Wells Guards, who are now at Gakdul, they will then join the other troops under Col. Stewart, and his force will proceed to El Meteneh as previously arranged.
