London, January 9. Successful Floating 1 of the Million LoanTenders for the New Zealand Government loan of £1.000,000 were opened today. The total amount tendered for was £3,980,000; tenders at £99 6s 6d will j receive 30 per cent., and tenders above I that amount will be allotted in full. ! Great rejoicings were held to-day at i Sandringham, the seat of the Prince of' Wales, to celebrate the coming of age of ] Prince Albert Victor. Several congratulatory addresses were presented to His Boyal Highness. The alleged discovery of a sefffct society of dynamiters in Pennyslvania- is not generally believed here. Capetown, January 9. The Aorangi, with the New Zealand mails dated London, December 20, sailed for Is'cw Zealand to-day. Washington, January 9. The Foreign Committee of the Senate has reported in favor of ratifying the treaty with Nicaragua for establishing control over the Panama Canal, notwitlistan ling the objections which have been made there by the British Government.
