The returns from the battery for-the last week are as follows :— New Find, 80 trucks crushed for 1220zs retorted gold. Colonist, 40 trucks crushed ; retorted return, including amalgam received from previous week, 19ozs. Diamond Gully, 24 trucks, 55ozs amalgam. Premier, tailings, lOozs amalgam. The battery is now running 20 head for the New Find, 10 for the Colonist, 5 for the Diamond Gully, and 5 on trial parcels from various claims.
