Coromandel Mining.
Union Beach.—The tribute parties have had very good crushings lately, Stuart and party getting 96ozs of gold from about 6 tons of quartz and a parcel of specimens ; Antwis and Co., 26ozs from 6 tons ; and J. Sullivan also had a firstrate yield. Kapanga.—The manager has been gratified by the first patch of good specimens. The mine is in splendid order now, and large quantities of the reef will be broken out. Whether it will be payable remains to be seen, although, for the sake of the plucky shareholders and the benefit of the district, it is to be hoped it will. Last of the Mohicans.—The owners of this claim have purchased the Just-in-Time battery, and are rapidly removing it on to their claim. The appearance of the reef is excellent, and it no doubt will give a pood account of itself when crushed.-— Herald.
