Wanganui, Monday.
The Wanganui Jockey Club's Spring Meeting was held to-day. There was a good attendance. The course was very heavy aDd in many places under water. The following are the results :—
Trial Stakes.—Laurel 1, Last Chance 2, Witiora 3.
Handicap Huhdles.—Wideawake 1, Chevalier 2, Scrutineer 3.
Ladies' Purse Handicap Httbdles.— Ebony 1, Wideawake 2, Southern Chief, 3.
Wanganui Stakes Handicap—Bayard 1, Armourer 2.
Maiden Plate. —Titokowaru 1, Wideawake 2, Stiletto 3. Back Eace. —Germain 1, Pilot 2, Maid of Eccleston 3.
