This day,
On Fowler, convicted yesterday of housebreaking, being brought up for sentence, tho judge said that after consider iDg the evidence, be was not altogether satisfied that the case should be left to a jury, and that an acquittal ought to have been directed; taking that view he reserved for the Court of Appeal the question whether the evidence was sufficient.
