Steamship Collision.
A collision occurred in the harbour off Bradley's head,' late on Saturday night, between .the steamship" Barrabool, 942 tons, belongiog4o William Howard Smith and Sons' Co. limited, and the. steamship Birksgate, 1433 tons/belonging to the Australian Steam Navigation Co. Both vcsaeis suffered severe damage, but. there was no loss of life.
Adelaide, Saturday.
Mauritius advices to July 25th are to hand. Under that date Messrs Ireland, Fraser, and; Co. report as follows: — Quotations of exchange on New Zealand nominal; 60 days' bank credits, Australia, 12 per cent. The stock of sugar in hand is 10,000 tons. The exports this season to New Zealand are 11,000 tons.
