.■.■;■:';; This day. In the case of Lawson v. the Queen, in which the plaintiff, a sawmill owner, recovered £600 damages from a special jury against Government for the destruction of his sawmill by sparks allowed to have been emitted from a railway engine, Judge Williams granted a new trial.
