R. M. Hbiohxon & Co., 177, Queen street, Auckland, report as follows:—We call the attention of employers to the fact that we have a reliable and trustworthy agency and can supply servants on most liberal terms without fear, favour, or money temptations. Our motto is equity and our system of conducting business will be found on trial respectable and satisfactory to all concerned should we be treated'by those patronising our agency in a manner worthy of the above attention, and .we further call the attention of employes; that some annoyance and feeling has been expressed that we as agents should do their business for their interest at a small pittance. Sueh 5* could not be done to their satisfaction!': for less than our standing rules from our practical experience which we find provss satisfactory to all. The labour market has been moderate dm-ing the post week. . Our engagements have been—■ Blacksmiths, 7» to 9a per day ; waiters, 25s to 30s per week and found; youths, as useful, from 7s to 10a per week. Farm hands -are plentiful, as also are men cooks, waiters, gar* deners, storemen for town and country, and married couples. We have had a fair supply of women, servants at current wages.
