A new " ererlastinß " wood paTement has been brought out in France. The wood blocks are boiled in a solution of sulphate of copper, sulphate of zince, and chloride of 'sodium mixed with heary mineral ml, linseed oil.' and tallow. The blocks afterwards compressed by abput one-tentb of their original Tolume.
