The amalgam returns for the week ending June 9th are as follows:—New Find, 15 head stampers, tailings 59ozs lOdwta, berdans 4,90zs lOdwts, tables 186ozs lOdwts; total, 2650zs lOdwta. Colonist, 10 head, tailings 31ozs, berdans 29ozs lOdwts, tables 97ozs; total, 1570za lOdwts.
New Find.—-A contract for driving 100 feet each way on the No. 2 reef on the new low level has been let by the manager. Work was commenced on Tuesday. Eubeka,—The wire tramway was anccessfully started on Monday evening, and quarta was coming down to the battery on Tuesday.
