London, June 10. In the disturbance between the Orangemen and National party at JNewry, the former were the aggressors. At Kieff, a Eussian town on the Hirer Dnieper, forty officers have been arrested on suspicion of beiDg connected with the Nihilist plof s. The Government has consented not to pledge England with reference to Egypt before consulting Parliament. Mr Murray Smith is pressing Mr Fawcett, PostmasteriGeneral, for a settlement of the question regarding letters for. New Zealand and Queensland intended for transmission by the P. & O. service requiring to be specially addressed. The statement published by the Pall Mall Gazette in reference fo the settlement of the Egyptian question is not exact through the details not being known. It is believed that the concession granted by England will provoke the defeat orthe Ministry, and a dissolution of Parliament will probably take place in the autumn. The Provincial Liberals and press insist on the retention of complete influence in Egypt. New Australian hops are selling freely from £6 to £8 per bale.
