Mr Gors,t has given notice, in the House of Commons of a resolution in reference to the alleged mal- practices and disorders in connection with the Pacific labor traffic. ,
TheFrenoh are reported to he fortifyiqg Obook, a possession of France, altuated in the Gulf of Aden.
Mr Labouohere's motion in the House of Commons, demanding an exposition of the policy of the Government, before granting supplies, has been rejected by a majority of 17 votes.
It is reported that considerable discontent prevails amongst the British soldiers at their prolonged service in Egypt. They complain of the undecided policy of the Government with Respect to Egyptian affairs,' and ' aver that their retention in Egypt only leads to an aimless butphery,
