The Cricket Match between the Australian team and the combined eleven of Australia was resumed here to»day, when the former continued their first innings, and remained in all day, scoring 619 runs with nine wickets down. The following wero the scores in today's play:-—Bonnor (rum out), 2; Midwinter, c and b, 9; Blackham, b nil; Alexander, c, 50; Palmer, b Cooper, 52 ; Boyle (not out), 40 ; Murdoch (not out;, 279. The total for che nine wickets, including yester* day's scores, 619. Not much interest was taken in the match, and the attendance to-day was small. Meibopene, This day. Boyle (nofc ont) 40 and Murdoch (not out) 279, resumed their places at the wickets, but the former was soon bowled, without scoring, and the innings thus ended for 619 runs. Latek. The steamer Tomki returned to port to* day, reporting that when thirty miles from the Heads last night it was found that fire had broken out on board, and that one of the passengers had lost his life by suffocation.
