Academy of Music.

Mr F. W. Millis gave an exceedingly clever performance last night, introducing several novelties from his extensive and attractive repertoire. His character sketches are intensely amusing, and well executed. His " Masher" was very good, and the song " You girow more like your dad every day" seemed to take well. Poor •' Mr Pap»and-Caudle" elicited the sympathies as well as excited the risible faculties of the audience by his woful condition as a nurse ; and the " Trouba dour" was an exceedingly meritorious performance. The concluding portion of the entertainment showed that Mr Millis is the possessor of very rare ventriloquial powers, and he sent his audience home well pleased with their evening's entertainment. He announces a change of programme for this evening when he should be rewarded with a good house.
