GBEYMotriH. Yesterday. _ The second day was again fine, with" a good attendance. There was capital racing, and about £1000 went through the totalisator. No accidents occurred. Hurdle Race : Liability, 1; Whalebone, 2; Levant, 3.—Grey Valley Stakes : Comet, 1; Maria Stewart, 2; Sincerity, 3.—Hack Eace Handicap : Happy Jack, 1; Fair Nell, 2. This was a close race.—ln the Summer Stakes Handicap there was an exciting finish ; Maria Stewart won by a bare nose with hard Hogging all the way up the straight; Shepherdess, 2; Sincerity, 3; Talent, 4.—Forced Handicap : Sir Tatton, 1; Pippin, 2; Satellite, 3. Close race between the first two.
