WELLINGTON.
This day.
A case of infanticide was reported this morninjr. It appears that a young girl named Kate Boylan aged nineteen years', engaged as a domestic servant to a gentleman in Wellington, gave birth, this morning, to a full grown female child ; and subsequently the infant was discovered dead in an outhouse. The body was removed awaiting an inquest, and the mother of the child will be taken to the hospital this afternoon. An axe stained with blood has been discovered.
