EUtnuKi G.M, Co.—ln this company work is being continued in the winze and in the low level crosscut, sb well as in the Excelsior sections of the mine, without any material change to note. A start was made on Saturday morning to cart from Paeroa to the scene of operations the material necessary to effect repairs to that section/of the company's water race and tramway which was damaged by the flood some two months ago. Ivanhoe G.M. Co. —The low level tun • nel ls now in a distance of 98 feet, and the manager expects to meet with the reel before the end of the present week. Groi^EN Cbown G.M. Co.—ln this mine good headway ia being made with the work of driving the low level tunnel which will give 80ft. of backs on che pre. sent workings. Prospecting operations are now in progress in the Sir Walter ooott and Kenilworth claims. In bof.h of which good reefs are said to have been already unearthed.
