NAPIER.
This day. The body of Thomas Kerr, seaman, one of the victims of the recent boat accident on the bar of the harbor, was found on the Petane beach yesterday. At the inquest today, a verdict of " Accidentlly drowned " was returned. In the Supreme Court, the case of Blackburn v. the Northern Insurance Company broke down, the plaintiff being unable to prove that a claim had been made with fifteen days of destruction of the premises by fire.
