DUNEDIN RACE.

Dunedin, Saturday. The attendance at the races was about 600. Shortly after the first race was decided heavy rain fell. The proceedings opened with The Httntebs' Plate, for which five acceptors started. Wild Boy was installed first favorite, but after going a mile and a quarter he fell on the flat, and was pulled up limping ; it is unlikely he will race again. Encore ran round the first hurdle. Lady Emma, 6 years, 9st, 1. The Jilt, Water Nymph, and Epicure also ran. Lady Emma won easily. Members' Welteb Pjgate, a sweep of Ssovs, with lQOsovs added.—Butler's Emir Bey, Bst 51b (Butler), 1. The Painter, Qaptain Webster, Epicure, and Violin also ran. Emir Bey won easily.
