Sunday School Industrial Exhibition.

For some months past the scholars ia the Sunday schools in Auckland and at the Thames have been preparing articles for the fourth of the above exhibition's, which will be opened in Auckland on Tuesday afternoon next in the Drill Hall, Wei lesley street East. The exhibits from the Thames, 85 in number, and consisting of a varied assortment of useful and ornamental articles, were forwarded by the Enterprise to-night. They have been made by children of eight years old and upwards, and comprise drawings, maps, fret work, all kindsof needle work,lace work, and knitted work in silk, wool, and cotton, ferns, gum ornaments, bead, seed, and lace necklets and bracelets. The exhibition will after Tuesday remain open every afternoon and night for the remainder of the week, finally closing at 10 p.m. on Saturday, the first December: The Committee have arranged for a cookery competition lor the best white and brown bread, several varieties of cake, buscuits, &c, both sexes being allowed to compete.' Special entertainments (for which no extra charge will be made), are to be giren each evening, and there will likewise be a brass band in attendance. Altogether the affair promises to be a thorough success.
