In the Hauraki G.M. Co. rich gold was struck on Thursday last in thelow level crosscut, which is being driven along the footwall. of No. 2 lode. The reef here is about 5 feet thick, and shows gold freely throughout. The battery started to run one 1 shift with 12 head upon the Company's stuff yesterday morning. ■
