Information has been published here, that a fresh treaty bas been concluded between France and the Kingdom of Cambodia, which adjoins • the French Colony of Cochin China, and has been under the French protectorate since 1862. Usibepu insists upon England removing Getewayo from Zululand. Pahis, October 9. Later despatches from Tonquin confirm the official statement re the evacuation of the Black Flags from Sontay, and state in addition that they are generally falling back at all points before the French. M. Ferry has issued instructions to the French commandant at Tonquin to push operations against the enemy with all possible speed, and complete the occupation of Anam and the subjugation of the Black Flags as quickly as possible.
