This day. £225 was taken at Mr J.E. Redmond's meeting last night. . Mr Worthington, a teacher under the Board of Education, has been compelled to resign his seat in the Parnell Borough Council, to which he was recently elected. A man, whose name is supposed to be Thomas Graham, was drowned at Dargaville while attempting to step on board the steamer Durham.
