Arrived: Handa Isle, from Lyttelton. A ship supposed to be the Otaki, from London, and a barque are signalled.
A fire at Otahuhu this morning destroyed tour buildings. The insurances are—Ardern, butcher, on fittings and furniture, £100 in the Eoyal; TJnglas on building £150, .office' unknown ; Todd on building £125, in the Colonial; Todd on furniture £75, in the National. The heat of the fire melted,the telegraph wires, interrupting communication with the south for several hours.

Criminal Sessions.
At the Supreme Court to-day,. Robert Golding; charged with breaking and entering, was sentenced to three years' imprisonment.
