At the, competition of amateur baritones last night, Menzies won the first prize, Sceats was second, and Robinson third.
Mr Fallon has lost £1030 on his Calliope dock contract, and wants the Harbor Board to recompense him.
Ten harbor allotments were leased yesterday at £570 per annum ; the oldrentil was £152, and the upset rental, fixed by the Board, £195.
