WELLINGTON.
This day.
A boarding house at Taura Fiat, the property of F. Grier, and occupied by E. Mullens, was destroyed by fire yesterday morning. The building .was insured for £200, and the furniture for £250, both in the London, Liverpool, and Globe. Incendiarism is suspected. The inmates, numbering fourteen, were principally navvies, and on being aroused found the doors carefully fastened, and could only bo opened by violeuce; they, therefore,
escaped by means of the chimney. Nothing was saved, The detectives, are enquiring into the matter.
