■•■/■" Yesterday. A Maori fell off the platform of the train this afternoon in the tunnel. He was bruised and his bead injured, but it is not supposed fatally.
The trial of the case Stranaghan v. the Australian Mercantile Union Insurance Co. concluded to-day, after a five days' trial, with a verdict for the plaintiff, the amount claimed being £500.
