At the City Court," Captain " Burford was summoned for an obstruction in allowing a Salvation Army prayer meeting in the Octagon. He was fined Is, without costs. Mr Denniston gave notice of appeal. The s.s. British King reached the Heads at 6 o'clock this morning, and was berthed in Port Chalmers three hours later. She has 2,000 tons of cargo, two-thirds of which are for this port, and 150 passengers. Mrs Miller, one of tho steerage passengers, died on the voyage. The actual steaming time out was 43.days 10| hours, and the best day's work was 333 miles.
