At Eockonstle, Kentucky, recently a hen flew into a house and knocked down a rifle that was hanging on the wall. The weapon was; discharged, and killed a clergyman that was visiting the family. The supposition is that the hen was the enly one left out of a flock of forty-three which had been slaughtered to satisfy tbe appetites of the preachers convention and she had sworn vengeance/ -•' ' A Successful Debater^TKe' hornet always carries his point.
