; WELiiNaTON, This day. For main roads under "The Roads apd Bridges Construction Act," £29,620 is available, and for district roads £47,636. The Coromandel County applied for £6000, but not being in accordance with the Ace, the application was refused. £1,153 was was granted to the Thames County. The total amount applied for was £640,906, of which £177,398 has been granted. For district roada £61,995 was, applied for and £53,167 granted.
