"London, July 13. Mr Murray Smith, the Agent-General for Victoria, has communicated to Lord Derby, the Secretary for the Colonies, the address passed by both Houses of-)the Victorian Parliament on the annexation question, and has urged compliance with the wishes of the colonies.
It is rumored that a Jarge South Australian loan will shortly be placed in the market. *
