The fact?that be may be s* a good fellow "at the social board, a jolly story-teller, free with his money, a capital speech-maker, etc., has nothing to do with his integrity. The man who, in any position, does what he knows is immoral for the sake of money or power, in lacking in that integrity which makes him safe as a couuselior or publio sarTant. t
