MASTERTON.
This day. r A nine-roomed dwelling house at Ti§ Ore Ore station was burnt down at two o'clock this morning. The fire originated in the owner's bedroom, and in half an hoar the walls fell in. Nothing was saved. Insurances—-House and furniture, £650, in the North British. This fairly covers the loss, except some valuable private papers, the effects of the proprietor, who had to bolt out of the burning house without dressing.
