NELSON.

This day.

A fire broke out at 3 o'clock this morn* ing in the stables of Griffin and Sons, Albert street. It had a good hold before the alarm was given, but with a good supply of water it was soon got under. The stables and granary, were insured in the Colonial Co. for £100. The contents were uninsured. The loss is estimated at £200 above insurance.
