la the Waitekauri G.M.Co., Hollteand party, tributers, who are sinking a winze on Butler's reef, at the Queen level, struck rich gold yesterday. They have now on hand about 3cwt of specimens, which are estimated to be worth half an ounce to the pound. The reef is 3 feet thick, and there is a splendid show of gold in the bottom of the winze, which is down a depth of 30 feet.
