Mr Courtenay is going home unofficially with a view of inducing emigration to this part of the colony. He addressed a public meeting here and resolutions were unanimously passed that it was desirable Mr Courteuay should go Home, and that Government be requested through Major Atkinson to give him one thousand copies of the West Coast Eeserves Leasing Eegulations for distribution in the farmers' club reading rooms throughout Great Britain.
