Yesterday.
Over 400 people met in the Harmonic Hall last night to hear Major Atkinson. The hon. gentleman repeated his Hawera speech', and entered fully into local ques tions besides. The proceedings, which were lively towards the end, lasted until a very late hour, but a vote of thanks and confidence was carried unanimously.
