Yesterday
It has been decided to appoint a Koyal Commission to inquire into the past management of the Dunedin Gaol, and the following gentlemen will be proposed by the Government to form it, viz.:—Messrs Oswald Curtis, Nelson, and Caleb Whiteford, R.M., Kaiapoi. It is understood that the inquiry will be mjst searching.
