Destructive Fire at Te Aroha.
(FBOM OUR OWtf .COBBESPONDENT.)
Paeboa, This day.
A great fire occurred at Te Aroba at three o'clock this morning, when Coleman's Hotel (late O'Halloran's) took fire, and was burned down. The fire spread to Veale's store and the Telegraph Office. Some of the furniture was saved from the Hotel, and most of Veale's goods were saved. Coleman's was insured in the
Victoria Goy., but the amount is not known. The Telegraph instruments had to be removed so telegraphic communication is interrupted between here and Te Aroha. The origin of the fire is not known. B. Graham Macky arrived here on horseback with the news. Veale's store was not insured, but the Victoria Coy., bad a risk on the stock.
